Phuong Do Lan studied Psychology in Berlin and at the University of Zurich. She worked as a clinical psychologist at the University Hospital of Psychiatry Zurich for two years. Her main research interests include psychosis and resilience with a focus on early detection, psychotherapy and statistical methods (network analysis). During her studies she already gained experience as a research assistant (i.e. at Charité Berlin, University Hospital Zurich, University of Zurich). Her project "Understanding and detecting early psychosis: A network approach" aims to explore the existing knowledge of vulnerability and protective factors in psychosis in a dynamic network approach from a salutogenetic perspective. Network models allow to better visualize and understand the complexity of mental disorders through dynamic connections of individual symptoms. It is expected that protective factors, activated in time, have a relevant role in psychosis development.
The DeEPsy project is supported by a SNF grant for the entire period of four years.
