Information for Presenters
General Information
- Please bookmark this page and check back for new information or changes.
- If you wish to work on your presentation in a quiet environment, you can use the speaker ready room. Laptops for temporary use are available at the Info Desk.
- Please also check the general information for participants.
- Presenters must be registered and payments of presenters must be received latest by May 31. The contributions of participants who fail to do so cannot be considered for the program, or the book of abstracts (and will therefore not be able to present).
Paper sessions and Symposia
- The duration of each paper session and symposium is 90 minutes, including discussion.
- A symposium includes at least one chairperson and up to 4 presentations, which may include a discussant (optional; i.e., three presentations and one discussant).
- A paper sessions includes up to 5 presentations. Each talk in a session is scheduled for a maximum of 15 minutes speaking time and at least 3 minutes for discussion.
- All conference rooms are equipped with Apple computers with Microsoft PowerPoint (presentations created with Windows PowerPoint also work smoothly). We kindly ask all the presenters upload their presentations (USB-stick) in advance to the computer. Presenters may also use their own computers, but need to bring their own adapter (to VGA). Please make sure that your presentation is functioning as it should in advance in order to reduce transition times.
Poster sessions
- Poster sessions will take place in the "Lichthof"; the atrium of the University of Zurich's main building on the following dates:
- Poster Session I: Thursday, July 23, 2015, 15:30 - 16:30
- Poster Session 2: Friday, July 24, 2015, 15:30 - 16:30
- Maximum size for posters is A0 (841mm wide by 1189mm high) with a “portrait” orientation.
- Posters should be mounted between 8:00 and 8:30 on the date of your presentation and removed by 18:30 of the same day. All poster materials not removed on time will be discarded.
- Push pins will be available for mounting posters to the boards.
- All Poster presenters are encouraged to stand by their poster to answer attendee questions during the Poster Sessions.
- The distribution of printed material is permitted at the author’s expense.
- The conference Logo is available on the Promotional Material site.
FAQ
- Are registration fees waived for accepted presenters and invited symposia?
No, we are not able to waive registration fees in order to keep costs manageable for all participants.
- Will the abstracts be published?
The abstracts will be published in the book of abstracts, which will be publicly available online.
