Dr. Monika Maślikowska is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich (ATR, Department of Psychology). She also serves as a Co-chair in the Team Performance Management track (OB&HRM) at the European Academy of Management (EURAM). She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Lugano, Switzerland (Summa cum Laude), which she pursued thanks to the awarded ESKAS grant. Previously, she had also been a visiting researcher at INSEAD (USI Shadowing Grant) and EM Normandie (France), and collaborated with Stockholm School of Economics (Sweden), and Hanken School of Economics (Finland).
Dr. Maślikowska’s research focuses on the aspects of team collaboration (incl., team cohesion, alignment, coordination, passion, diversity) in dynamic (virtual collaboration, boundary spanning, multi-teaming, sub-team formation, moving on and off the team) and extreme contexts (analog space missions, polar research, pandemic, war, and sustainability crises). She published papers in Academy of Management Learning and Education and Facilities journals, book chapters (Routledge), and she presented at multiple international academic conferences (AOM, EURAM, EGOS, INGroup). For her work, she received the Best Student Paper award (EURAM), and a nomination for Best Student Paper award (INGroup).
Apart from conducting research, Dr. Maślikowska also pursued teaching at an academic level (UZH, USI, SSE, Hanken), and worked in industry for several years (incl. Amazon, Ferrero, World Challenges Programme). She continues to collaborate with many international organizations (Lunares - Analog Space Station, Nestlé, IKEA, International Food Waste Coalition, Oatly, Too Good to Go, Netguru, UPS, Impel Group), with whom she conducts academic research projects.
