The DMP (Data Management Plan) records the handling of data during and after the completion of a project. It enables systematic planning of data management and ensures the secure reuse of data. A DMP includes the following 4 aspects:

• Data creation and documentation
• Ethical, legal, and security aspects
• Data storage and preservation
• Reusability of the data
